Dropped in a few times this week so far. Staying at a nearby Airbnb. Stocked up on some goodies. They have a nice selection of just about everything you may want. They even have milk in old fashioned glass bottles where u can return to be recycled and get some refund.
People working there are so nice and helpful. Definitely would return and before we leave for the NYC. BTW, they have blueberry soda! -

Since I recently moved to OOB I pass by On the Vine twice a day and this evening I decided to stop and check it out. Upon entering, I stepped right into the produce section and I saw many different types of fresh veggies. There were tomatoes and lots of leafy veggie choices. All of the veggies looked fresh and full of vibrant colors. I settled for a healthy snack and picked up a banana. After passing by the extensive salad and soup bar, I was immediately drawn to the bakery display. There were tons of delectable freshly made cakes, cookies and special deserts like eclairs and . I decided to pick up a flourless cake for my lovely wife. It is one of her favorites. Next to the bakery was the deli and they had lots of wonderful deli meats for sale. After walking a bit through the rest of the store I noticed a seafood section that offered several fish choices and of course fresh Maine lobsters. I did venture upstairs and was impressed by there wine and beer selections. My only knock on the place was the fact that their prices were a bit on the high side which would put me in as a casual shopped. I would stop by for that specific seafood item, cut of meat or more than likely that special bakery sweet, however wouldn't make this my weekly shopping experience.

Fantastic shop with beautiful selection of baked goods, seafood, meats and cheeses. Super fresh produce and a fantastic selection of prepared foods. We are traveling in an RV so we purchased a few prepared items such as Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes ( which were amazing) and a marinated pork tenderloin. Also purchased an Italian sandwich and a red velvet cupcake . Everything was delicious! Super friendly staff and very affordable!

This cute market situated in Scarborough has SO much! It has a small bakery, seafood shop, meats/cheeses, sells produce, and even made to order sandwiches & soups.
Parking is spacious, you never have to worry about the hectic crowds you'll find at a regular grocery store. Some might say this is comparable to Whole Foods.... I say, it's probably a 1/4th comparable. Prices are reasonable if you need to shop for a few items. If you need a week's worth, I would suggest staying at Hannaford's or Trader Joe's. -

Just bought filbert nuts. My fault for not checking the dates. But really, six months beyond the expiration date? Check your stock!
